LAND BOUGHT AT HOW HILL, NORFOLK AND POTTERIC CARR, YORKSHIRE
Two arable fields have now been bought and will be turned into reedbed. About 40 hectares of former reedbed has been bought at How Hill. It was drained for agriculture but will now become part of the Broad Authorityís existing reserve. At Potteric Carr, the first half of a 58 hectare site has been bought. This will be turned into reedbed and wet grassland.
