Celebrate Bitterns in February 2006

A weekend of events is taking place to celebrate the achievements of the EU Life bittern project.

Why not come along to one of the events and see some of the work that has been done as part of the project and maybe even see a bittern.

Details of the events are as follows:

RSPB Ham Wall, Somerset - Sunday 26th February, 3pm - 5pm.
A winter starling and bittern roost, followed by soup, homemade cookies and hot drinks at Meare Manor. Booking is essential.

RSPB Titchwell Marsh, Norfolk - Friday 24th February, 4pm until dusk.
Bittern and harrier roost watch.

RSPB Marazion Marsh - Friday 24th February, 2pm until dusk.
Bittern hunt. Meet on the pavement opposite the marsh on the seafront.
